I was watching some video tutorials that were in my inbox when I got an idea for my card. By combining one from Therese Calvird and one from Carissa Wiley I made this.
The Penny Black image was stamped in Antique Linen Oxide on Gina K ivory paper. The die from Winnie and Walter was cut from some brown in my stash and gold foil applied to the bottom. Another brown piece was heat embossed with the sentiment from Papertrey Ink. Here's a close-up of the gold foil.
I want to welcome Linda Snodgrass as our guest designer this month. She and the Design Team have some wonderful sympathy cards to inspire you. If you are chosen Chic of the Week you will be in the running to be our guest designer in January.

So pretty. Love the sentiment over the solid background
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful, Bobby ... the neutrals are so serene and calming ... and are so elegant with the gold on the dipped sentiment! Catching up ... have enjoyed all your recent cards as I've been meandering ... though haven't had chance to leave comments. Know you'll understand that, my friend! Big hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThis is pure perfection! I love the soft, leafy background and that die cut sentiment looks amazing with the partial foil. Beautiful and soothing.
