Guess who's having a birthday? No not me. Less Is More. Eight fabulous years of clean and simple challenges. Here's to many more LIM.
For their birthday challenge they want us to use Navy and Yellow. I must admit that I cringed while making this card because being an MSU fan and having lived in Lansing for over 20 years, using the maize and blue of the University of Michigan conjured up the rivalry. 😬
I made my C9 plaid background with CP Shea Butter and HA Navy. The PTI die cut, layered three times, is also in navy although it looks black here.
You do know that there was more of the plaid so I used the rest to make a similar card although it's not quite as CAS since the plaid covers more of the card.
Double wishes for a wonderful LIM birthday and two more cards for my masculine pile.

Bobby these are so cute! I love love love the plaid you stamped so perfectly! excellent design.
Two great CAS cards Bobby. Great job with the plaid! Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More.
Awesome plaid and I like the colors! These both look CAS to me Bobby, just terrific!
I love this. That plaid is perfect here. I have a buffalo check background stamp, and adding the thin line of a contrasting color takes this to a whole new level. And I'm with you, MSU all the way!!!!! Our daughter lives in Lansing and our son lives close by in Mason. But I still like yellow and navy together. :-)
I love yellow and navy and using it in a plaid is brilliant, Bobby! Love both of those die cut happy birthdays too.
Since I'm not a football fan, that rivalry didn't even cross my mind, Bobby - but there's not many combos that can compete with that navy-yellow! Fabulous - both Happys make me happy!!! and I love the plaid!

What a sweet birthday card...love that gorgeous plaid, the yellow is amazing!
What a great plaid the navy and yellow makes, Bobby ... never occured to me to combine the colours in this way. It's fresh and stylish ... and deliciously masculine ... and both designs are wonderfully cool! Hugs, Anita :)
Loce your CAS way to use patterned paper! This color combo is perfect for plaid. I love the clean look of your designs. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More and I hope to see you playing along our current OLC challenge where we are focusing on sentiment!
