Time Out #128

All of the 'love' challenges have given me the opportunity to get my valentines made.  Today's card is for Time Out who gave us this lovely photo to inspire us.
I was drawn to the decorations on the cake and made this:
I have had that garland die from PTI forever and it looks just like the bands wrapped around the cake.  I couldn't find my stamps that go with it so I cut some pieces of PP to cover a few of the hearts.  After I stamped the sentiment in gray I wasn't happy.  I decided to add the extra heart with the gray background to tie it together.

Thanks for dropping by today.

I so missed that detail in the photo...Lynn got it too! Such the perfect die for this amd I really like how you added that grey heart for more balance. Isn’t it funny when we make a card and look at it and it doesn’t seem quite right....then a small adjustment and it then pleases the eye....even if it is must a rounded corner that was needed! I love you picked up on this tiny detail on the card and made one amazing card. Love to see you at Time Out

You have the perfect die for this challenge, Bobby! Love the little hearts you embellished with patterned papers!
And the gray one makes a great balance with the sentiment as you said! Wishing you a wonderful weekend :) !

I was so tempted by those heart garlands around the cake, Bobby ... and you were inspired beautifully with them! What a delicious heart-scattered, fun and loving card ... that single grey heart is perfect to tie the sentiment into the design! Always happy to have you playing along with us at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)

Well, this couldn't be any more perfect for our challenge!! I tried making a garland but it was a disaster. This is so much like the cake and the papers you used are so pretty. Another gorgeous card for your VDay stash and so happy you shared it with us at TIME OUT!!
