Easy enough sketch so I thought I'd go with the option. I spent a day working on a cute little shaker card that ended up with glue all over the card, the sequins and me. I rescued the sequins, discarded the card and washed my hands of the whole thing - literally. Instead I made this.
I based my flower color on the cue word at CASology. It's been a while since I've played there but their word worked perfectly for this card.
I framed the Altenew Larkspur with a RC Lacy Scalloped Rectangle die, running the color along the edge of the card base underneath. The sentiment is from Verve.
Thanks for dropping by.

I've had the same experience with shaker cards, Bobby. And if it goes well, sequins and such are shaking out of the card. Your turquoise flower works perfectly and a lot less messy!
I passed on this Larkspur, Bobby... but MAN am I happy to see you didn't! What a gorgeous bloom AND card! I've come to the end of my shaker days, girlfriend - those that do them well sure do make it look easier than it is!

I have to chuckle at the shaker card gone wrong experience - I've walked away from a few. :)
This card is just beautiful! It's always great to see your designs in the CASology gallery!
This is so beautiful...love your gorgeous turquoise flower!
Bobby...bet if you go back to yesterday’s attempt, you would be able to rescue it. However, I love the second try...your turquoise flowers are stellar. (Also love that border die!). Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week.
I always struggle with shaker cards too. Love the 3 shades of turquoise you used on the flower. Thanks for playing along with us on the CASology Challenge blog.
Ha! You've just described exactly what I look like when creating shaker cards! Anyway your alternative card is very pretty and I love the turquoise flower. Thanks so much for playing at AAA Cards, hope to see you joining in with future challenges too.
I had such a problem making my last shaker card - took me four attempts - so I can definitely sympathise with you! This card is so lovely - I love that flower! Fabulous colours! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
