Addicted to CAS #164
I'm the host at Addicted to CAS for this challenge and have chosen the following code word:
I have a number of daisy stamps and it was difficult to pick which one to use. I finally decided on this smaller one by Sheena Douglas.
I colored them with Zigs and then added Distress Ink to the background, as well as some blue and white splatters. The sentiment is from Altenew. This was not the first card I made though. Here's that one.
I tried to mask the stems with rubber cement and it was hard to paint those thin lines so I wasn't happy with the way the Distress Ink washed over the background around them. For the blue card I got smart and did the background first and that worked much better. I didn't have to worry about bleed either.

I love the contrast of the white flowers with the blue background, Bobby! I also love the softer green background that gives an entirely different feel. Most of all I love this sweet daisy stamp!
These are both delightful, Bobby ... the wash on colour in the background on each one is fabulous ... I thought the shadow around the stems on the soft green one was intentional ... looks great on my screen! Hugs, Anita :)

I love both versions of this daisy design, Bobby, Whatever you see as a "flaw" on the card with the green background looks marvelous to me. The blue background provides a more striking contrast but I love them both. Thank you for coming up with such a fun code word.

LOVE the daisies with the blue background. So perfect together. I have not had any success masking with fluids. I know for me, I'm impatient about waiting for them to dry. :) xx
