It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and Angie has chosen
I'm not particularly good with color challenges and it took a couple of tries to come up with a card that I liked.I started with the darkest teal from Altenew and stamped the Wallpaper Art leaves. I found two papers from Core'dinations that went well together with each other and the ink color. In fact in the photo they like the same color but the leaves are really darker. The panels are cut from an MFT die with a little white between to brighten it up and tie into the white leaves.
The Design Team and our guest designer are waiting to inspire you. Check them out and then make a card using the challenge colors. You may end up being our Chic of the Week.
Fantastic card, very pretty and you nailed those colors perfect, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful use of teal, Bobby! I can see the darker color of the leaves! I hope your hand is healing well.
ReplyDeleteWhether it was your second, or third - it was worth the couple tries to end up here, Bobby! Teal is a blue I can kinda live with - even better if I think of it as a green! ha!

I am sure that your previous tries with this color combo are not as bad as you think. This card is gorgeous with those beautiful leaves. I really like how you stamped the sentiment on it's side, too.
ReplyDeleteThis was definitely worth every single effort. What a pretty card, Bobby. I love the dies you've chosen, and those leaves look incredible. I can definitely see the different shades of blue here and they're lovely. Your whole card is lovely. Happy Saturday. xo Bev
