Back in 1958, Brenda Lee recorded a song called "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree". During that same time, aluminum Christmas trees were all the rage. I took those elements and a stamp set from My Sentiments Exactly and made my card for CAS Christmas Challenge - Christmas Song.
You don't know how many times and ways I tried to photograph this card so the silver embossing would show. It looks really dark here but it's so pretty and shiny IRL. Before the embossing, I stamped the tree in Antique Linen Distress Ink to make it easier to color the tiny circles with Zigs.
Thanks for dropping by today. I appreciate it when you do.

I remember those silver trees! and you have captured that perfectly with your card .
What a fun and fabulous card!! Love the tree!
Amazing coloring on the tiny ornaments, Bobby! I'm sure the shine is amazing just like with those aluminum Christmas trees! My sister-in-law still has one much to her husband's dismay! Thanks so much for Rockin' with us at CAS Christmas!
What a fun and funky little tree! This is terrific Bobby. My mom and dad had a silver tree in the 60's, not aluminum, but silver. Years later they used it for a church (little country church) Christmas party. All of the teenage kids thought it was SO COOL... LOL!!!
So fun, Bobby... thanks for taking us back in time to such fun Christmas memories!

CAS and absolute perfection Bobby! My mom had a small table top silver tree that had all blue ornaments on it and I always thought it was so ugly and couldn't understand why she pulled it out year after year...now I wish she still had it as I think it would be a cool decoration! How time changes! I do get to hear Brenda Lee Rockin Around the Christmas Tree every year though as it's a favorite of hubby's and her has her whole collection! But anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane and for sharing this lovely and FUN Christmas card with us at CAS Christmas! :0)
This is a great retro Christmas card, Bobby! And now I'm hearing that song in my head. hahaha
