It is "Stamp Act" week at Krafty Chicks
and I used a lot of stamps on my card.
This all came about when my friend Marcia posted a link to GinaK's YouTube video about retiform. I had never tried this technique but after seeing it I thought it would be fun to try. I'm not going to try to explain it. If you're interested please check out the video.I thought I'd try again with different colors and this is what I came up with. I'm not sure about those gray butterflies but they do match the PTI sentiment.
I forgot to cut my panels down before I stamped them so I just trimmed a little bit to have a border, kraft on the first one and slate on the second.
I appreciate you dropping by. Have a great day!

Oh Bobby...both of these turned out BEAUTIFUL!! Kind of an addicting technique isn't it?! Love your color choices and stamps, and your first one almost has a puffy quilted look to it! It's always fun to try something new and I'm so glad you gave this technique a try! Hugs. :0)
This is intriguing and you've done a marvelous job Bobby! I agree with Marcia, the first one looks quilted!
Very fun! Both look great, Bobby... even the gray butterflies!

This is such a unique technique! I love how you've sponged softly for the divisions and the great mix of stamps you've used!
How fun! This looks great, and the colors are wonderful too
LOVE this technique, and you have nailed it here. It's harder than Gina makes it look, isn't it? Well done, this is fabulous!!!
