Addicted to CAS #187

Before I show you my card, I need to say that this will be my last card for Addicted to CAS and the last challenge of the year.  Our fearless leader, Kylie, has decided to shut down the challenge until next year at which time I will be stepping down from the team.  I appreciate Kylie for giving me the chance to be on the team and for the support of the rest of the members. It has been a great experience.

For this last challenge Barb is our host and she has chosen this code word.
One layered cards are not my favorite but my friend Michele made a beautiful card that inspired me to make this one.
Using Distress Oxide, I stamped the edges of my Altenew tulip with Seedless Preserves and spritzed the stamp before pressing it onto my Neenah #110.  The second layer was done the same way with a little more ink on the stamp.  The stem is Peeled Paint.  I added a few splatters in the tulip color and a sentiment from PTI.

I hope you'll all join us for this last challenge of the year.

I'm humbled to be the inspiration for this beauty, Bobby! I'd love an entire flower bed filled with these gorgeous [seedless preserves!] tulips!
You've done a wonderful job representing Kylie's challenge, my friend... this is a beautiful way to say goodbye - and I adore that sentiment! Well done, you!

This is gorgeous, Bobby, and I knew immediately which Michele inspired you. She is the tulip queen of the universe. Perfect choice of colors, and perfectly executed inking. It's been wonderful working with you on this challenge. I'll see you out these in many other places!
