Just Us Girls #553 - Trend Week

It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Nancy has chosen this trend for us.

I must admit that I wrote this down on my design team list as use one third of the card ,which has appeared in a few CAS challenges, and that's what I made.  Then when I went to write my blog post and inserted the graphic I realized I had to do something different.  I decided to just expand what I had originally designed and this is the result.

I blended Twisted Citron, my new Speckled Egg and Stormy Sky Distress Ink on Bristol.  After cutting the panel into thirds, I stamped the MFT Flower Silhouettes, and placed the pieces on black.  I couldn't figure out a good way to add a sentiment so I left it off.

The Design Team and our guest Lindsey have some wonderful, innovative ways to cut a card into thirds.  You're going to want to check them out on the JUGS blog and on their individuals blogs to get a closer look.   We hope they inspire you to make a card for the challenge.

Gorgeous! I love how you blended the colors in thirds from top to bottom and then cut the panels with the beautiful silhouette stems from side to side!
