CAS Mix-Up March 2021

This month is the watercolor challenge at CAS Mix-up and you need to make a  print with die cuts.

I've seen cards with this technique and love the look so I gave it a go.

I used a poppy die from Memorybox and painted it with the new Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink.  Then I turned it over and let the ink paint flowers in the background.  I added a second layer to the die cut and glued it onto a stitched oval that was actually a leftover center to a PTI frame die.  After debossing the card base with Altenew's Dotted Starburst, I added the oval and a sentiment from The Ton.

I'm so glad you dropped by today.  I hope your week is going well.

CAS Mix-up is also celebrating their birthday.  Reversing the tradition, they are the ones giving gifts.  Thanks for the wonderful challenge and may you continue on for a long, long time.

Your print made flowers are so pretty, Bobby! It makes the die cuts look like they're in the front of a field of flowers! Love the debossed background too! Thanks so much for sharing in our birthday celebration at CAS Mix Up!
