Altenew April, Color Hues and Fusion

I've made quite a few cards lately (when the inspiration strikes you have to go with it) and rather than do one post a day and take the chance on missing a deadline, I'm posting three cards today all using Altenew stamps.

First up is my card for the Altenew Monthly Challenge.

I colored Weekend Doodles with Zigs, added the sentiment from the same set, and layered it all up with the Deckled Dies from Honey Bee.  You can see the inspiration photo below.

My next card is for Color Hues using the Pantone colors of the year - yellow and gray.
I stamped four of the Fabulous Florets in gray on my card base with the layers in several shades of yellow.  The larger flower was die cut and popped up over the others. Although it looks black, the heat embossed sentiment is on a strip of gray.  (I must give credit for this design to Altenew as it was suggested in their layering guide.)

My last card uses the Poppy Craft-a-Flower and it will be going to the Fusion Challenge.
To fit everything on a card I needed to make a mini slimline.  I used a Honey Bee stencil for the shiplap background, inking every other line, and then coloring in below the bottom line with Distress Ink.  The pitcher from The Greetery and the poppies are all cut from paper with a chalky finish that my daughter had and used for an art project.  They look a lot like large paint chips and work great for all the Craft-a-Flower dies.

That's it for me today.  I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow with more of my creations.  See you then!

Bobby, all three cards are lovely! Weekend Doodles is one of my favorite Altenew stamp sets and your poppy die cuts are standouts. Love the yellow florals---especially the way you've stamped them on the diagonal, and then added the die cut floral with the embossed sentiment! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!

Three gorgeous cards in one post?? It's a great way to get the job done - beautifully!
You haven't asked us to choose a favorite, so I won't... but those yellows are like a burst of sunshine with my coffee this morning!

Bobby, this is some serious eye candy going on in this post! Each card is really wonderful. The one for Color Hues is so pretty and it appears that the flowers are shimmering, so lovely. The card with the shiplap is AMAZING! It was an absolute pleasure coming by today! Thanks for being with us at Color Hues.

A triple dose of inspiration ... how lovely, Bobby! Weekend Doodles is a favourite of mine (that's rarely used at the moment) ... so happy to see it so wonderfully showcased! Your buttery yellow blooms are delicious ... and the bold vibrancy of the poppies contrasts brilliantly with the chalky grey pitcher! Hugs, Anita :)
