Just Us Girls #579 - Trend Week

Carol has a wonderful way with stencils and so for her host pick at Just Us Girls this week she picked this for the challenge:

I just happened to have the Tranquility Rose from Altenew that is a beautiful layering stencil waiting for a play.
I had also gotten the new Martian Terrain inks and they are such a lovely color that I had to try them on the rose.  I trimmed the panel and bordered it with a green that really matches the darkest color in the leaves even though it doesn't look like it here.

No layering stencil?  No problem.  You can layer any that you have to make wonderful background designs.  We hope you'll give it a try and enter a card in the gallery.  For inspiration, please check out what the Design Team and our guest designer Claire have made for the challenge.

I'm very tempted with those layering stamps. They give such a pretty effect - kind of a bit softer than stamping. Such a pretty take on the challenge!
