Twofer Challenge #41

I am sad to report that the Twofer Challenge will be closing after this month.  Our Darling Darnell has given us a wonderfully fun challenge for the last four years but family and health issues require more of her time and as we well know that takes priority.  Many thanks to you and your team, Darnell, for all the creativity we've seen on this unique challenge.

Here's the prompt.

I'm so glad I brought stamps with me that I can use for this final challenge.  I would have hated to miss it.

The images are from Gerda Steiner, colored with Zigs.

Here the little bulldog is all forlorn that he forgot someone's birthday.  The 'doghouse' is cut from paper from a Honey Bee Stamps pack with an MFT die.   The card base behind was inked with Altenew using a blender brush.

Here he is consoling his little cat friend.  After masking the horizon, the sky was ink blended with Altenew and then the top was masked and the grass added.  The little speech bubble just happened to be in the stamp set - one I computer generated a while ago.

I hope you'll make a card for this last challenge.  Or at least stop by and give the design team some love before they ride off into the sunset.

Hello dear friend! These little critters are soooo cute, and I had a good chuckle at the expression on that bulldog's face! He's quite the curmudgeon, but in a good way, lol! Awesome cards, as per usual! I'm so glad you had these along with you and could play with us for our last challenge. It's always a treat to see you in the gallery. Thanks so much for joining us for our final Twofer Card Challenge. You take care. Stay safe. And I'll be around blogland (though I'm doing so major projects around the house starting next month, so it'll be touch and go until after Thanksgiving.). xo Bev

These cards are so adorable Bobby!! LOVE the tough looking pup ... he doesn't look very happy right now. The cat is picking up on his mood and looks a little sad as well. I do love Gerda Steiner images!! :) xx

What perfect stamps for this challenge, Bobby! I LOVE this dog peeking through the frame! His expression is priceless! You got both a dog and a cat on that second card! Again, an awesome expression for the kitty! Two fantastic and fun cards! Thanks for sharing in our last Twofer Challenge and for all your participation over the last 4 years!

I'm so glad you join our final challenge with this amazing dog and cat Twofer, Bobby. Both cards are fantastic CAS. The sentiments are funny and totally opposite to the grumpy look of dog and cat. :-) Take care and keep crafting. Hugs, Sonja
