It's red and green all the way at Color Hues. I bet you think I made a Christmas card, right? Wrong. I recently purchased the Craft a Life Garden Roses kit from Altenew and was itching to make something with it.
This is a layered stamp with a stencil. The roses were stamped with Onyx Black ink and the bottom layer added through a stencil with Candied Apple Distress Ink. For the two layering stamps I used Altenew Ruby Red and CP Cranberry Fizz. The leaves do not have layers so are stenciled with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks. The rose embossing folder in the background is part of the kit and looks far more impressive IRL. The sentiment is from The Greetery. I thought it could be used for several different occasions and was small enough to not obstruct the roses.
I'm so glad you dropped by and I hope you take time to smell the roses. 😉
