Just Us Girls #628 - Color Week

I have to admit that this week's color combo at Just Us Girls is one of my favorites.  Could it be because they are my school colors?  Sue is our host and she chose  

In keeping with using older stamps, I got out my Winter Cardinal from Altenew and made this card.


When I made the cardinal before I always thought the colors of ink I had were too dull for such a beautiful bird.  With the addition of some newer Altenew inks I got this vibrant plumage.  The clouds were made with a The Rabbit Hole stencil and whatever ink was left on my black brush. The panel and border were cut with WF A2 dies 

I'm sure there are a wide variety of ways to use these colors on a card.  The Design Team and our guest Mac Mable will show you a few wonderful examples.  Be sure to check them out.

    You surprised me with this beautiful cardinal Bobby. I thought we would see beautiful flowers. His colouring is stunning and those soft clouds a perfect background. Love it!
