Color Hues #43

It's not often that I run right out and purchase a stamp/die when they first come out, which usually means when I do decide I want it, it's out of stock.  I didn't want to take that chance with PinkFresh Studio's Stained Glass.  I got the die, stencil and hot foil plate but only used the stencil and die for my card for Color Hues.

I used Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Speckled Egg through the three stencils and then layered the white die cut over it.  The sentiment from PFS is hot foiled in gold.  This makes a great masculine card and I can see it in so many other colors.

Thanks for dropping by.

Thanks to a generous birthday GC, I also snapped up this set. I've used the cover plate and foiled one, but haven't gotten out the stencil. This inspires me! Your ink blending is wonderful, and the white cover plate is perfect over it. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!

What a fun purchase and I love the way you've used it! The shades of your blues and greens are just like a twirling costume I had for competitions!

Beautiful card Bobby! Can see why you had to have this stained glass stencil and die. Fabulous colours! xx

I can see why you didn't wait! This turned out incredible! I think your choice of shades of colors is what really made this work out so well! Looking forward to seeing it with foil as well. Thanks for playing at Color Hues!

Isn't that the way it is with purchasing stamping supplies, I can relate and glad you picked up this set before it was OOS. Also when you get a collection like that you have so much versatility! Thank you so much for sharing it with us at the Color Hues!
