52 Christmas Card Throwdown 26.23

I'm glad that I had what I needed to play in 52 Christmas Card Throwdown's color challenge this week - red and pale blue.

Using Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink, I colored the poinsettia die from Altenew.  The light blue cardstock was embossed with Crystal Wall from Altenew and then brayered with Unicorn White ink.  The blue was so light that not much of the white shows in the photo but it looks great IRL.  The sentiment is from EbyE stamped in the same red ink.  My Christmas stash keeps growing.  Yay!

Thanks for dropping by.

It seems to be the blue that I'm having trouble seeing - perhaps it's time to recalibrate my monitor? It doesn't matter one bit though, Bobby, as your Poinsettia is extra beautiful on your embossed base!

Bobby, your card is lovely, so glad you got to play along with at 52 CCT. It is frustrating when our photos don't show what see in person...but I'm sure it is exactly as you describe and interprets the challenge beautifully. Smiles, Kathy

Gorgeous tone of red for your poinsettia, I think we never tire of these beautiful flowers. Love your textured bg too -- although I am very jealous as I've not had the time to THINK about Christmas cards, let alone make some...
