Today's card is for Color Throwdown. I waited until the last minute to make a card but it came together yesterday in time for the deadline.
I did a pastel version of their pink, purple and green using Pinkfresh Studio's It's a New Day Floral. All the images stamp and cut at once and I recently got the stencil to go with it. I must admit I'm not crazy about the stencil. It doesn't line up well and I don't really like the second layer. I'll eliminate it the next time. I arranged them on a Spellbinders oval that was popped up over an Altenew Floating Foliage embossing folder panel.
Thanks for dropping by. Have a great week!

This is really pretty, Bobby! I love the floral image, and the colors and wonderful. I can sympathize with them not lining up -- a pet peeve of mine. I wonder sometimes, if it's because it's all one stamp and I've distorted it will removing the acetate backing. I saw Heather Hoffman using two colors within the detail layer, softening the transition and possibly making it less obvious on the line-up.
I've often been confused by Altenew's stencils, Bobby. I think your bouquet is beautiful and certainly doesn't show the struggle!

Beautiful colouring of your flowers Bobby. The bouquet looks lovely over top of the embossed background design. xx
Great card !!!

Love the embossed background and I like the two shades of the stenciling!
Your stenciling looks good to me, Bobby, but I understand those frustrations! This is a pretty card!
Sometimes those last minute cards come out the best!! I love all the white on this card Bobby, and the stenciling looks fine to me, but I totally understand when you think it should look different! It's still a lovely, lovely card to me!! Hugs. :0)
