The other day I posted a card made with ornaments from Pinkfresh Studio that had been stenciled last year and left in the package. You can see that card here. There were more finished ornaments that I think work well for the Color Hues challenge.
They had been foiled in red and stenciled with Altenew grays. I added red thread to hang them on a black card base embossed with a snowflake coverplate from C9 but it doesn't show up well in the photo. The foiled sentiment is from Simon Hurley. Not quite your traditional Christmas colors but elegant all the same.
I'm so glad you dropped by. I hope you'll leave a comment.

Red & Black may not be traditional Christmas colors, but I sure think they work beautifully for the holiday and your card definitely says so too Bobby! Those ornaments with their red foiling are so pretty and look so elegant against the black background embossed with the snowflakes. Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

ReplyDeleteElegant is just the right word for this card with the gorgeous ornaments! I love that red thread and the bright red foiled sentiment. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty ornaments, Bobby! I think it would be so cool to have a tree with nothing but red and white ornaments on it. Thanks for playing along at Color Hues.
ReplyDeleteYour red foiled ornaments are so beautiful,I stopped myself from saying elegant because you said it in your post, but it was the right word--so elegant. I love that PinkFresh set and it doesn't get used near enough. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Color Hues!
