The Flower Challenge #100 - reminder

There is still time to make a card for The Flower Challenge's 100th challenge.

I hadn't used my Altenew Hanging Flowers in a while and saw a card on their website featuring a color combination that I liked.  It didn't quite turn out like I wanted but it was fun to make.

All the pieces were cut from watercolor paper and the blossoms painted with Altenew Dusty Rose and the leaves in Just Green, adding more ink to different layers.  When dry, I splattered them all with Toasted Mauve before assembling.  To keep with the rustic look, Altenew's Spicy Yogurt cardstock was cut with a STAMPlorations circle coverplate and the panel inked with more Dusty Rose.  The sentiment is from MFT.

Remember there are prizes to be had for some of those celebrating our 100th challenge with us.  We hope you'll be part of this occasion by entering a card in our gallery.

I always love it when you bring that Spicy Yogurt card to the table, Bobby! I'm loving it debossed with those circles!

Adding spatter/splatters created such great texture on the die cuts and the colors give your card almost a vintage feel. This is really pretty, Bobby!
