The early morning hours of Wednesday, August 20 found me wending my way to Michele's home where she, Marcia and I would spend a day talking, laughing, lunching and sharing our products. From those products, we each made three cards to highlight in today's post.
I brought the Simon Says Stamp Elegant Rose stencil and had made this one for Michele as a thank you for hosting me.
Marcia brought a stencil set from PTI called In the Meadow.
Michele had recently gotten the Ella Pumpkin stencil from The Ton and we each made a card with it.
I used the Warm and Cozy set of Altenew inks along with Nature's Wonder for the stems. A white panel was cut from MFT's Wonky Rectangles and placed on plaid paper from Honey Bee's Homestead Harvest. The sentiment is from C9's Freshly Picked.
You've seen my cards. Now let's go take a look at how Michele and Marcia finished their cards. I'm sure you'll be amazed at how different the cards look while using the same stencils. Click on the links to their blog posts.
Let it be known that this is not all the crafting we did that day, just the ones we agreed to finish and share. And I stayed overnight so there was even more crafting the next morning. It is always so much fun to be able to get together with other cardmakers who inspire you and share what stamps and dies they have that aren't in your arsenal. I'm already looking forward to next time.

All 3 are FABULOUS Bobby!! Your rose in the yellow's is sooooo pretty and I love how that stencil shows off the layers so beautifully! Your In the Meadow card is gorgeous and looks water colored to me with your beautiful blending...LOVE it!! And your pumpkins against the plaid is just perfect for Fall and I love the sentiment too! Such a fun day we had crafting and getting caught up...can't wait to do it again!! Hugs. :0)
Your yellow rose is GORGEOUS, Bobby! I may have to take a look at that stencil set and add it to my wishlist. You found the perfect shades of yellow for it and your meadow of flowers! You have shaded perfectly! Your pumpkins work perfectly on the plaid background! It looks like it was well worth the long drive. I'm glad you three could get together. Just wish I could be there too.
Wow! 3 wonderful cards Bobby. The yellow rose is so pretty as is your stenciled blooms. The pumpkins and plaid paper are perfect together. So glad you 3 were able to get together and have fun crafting. Can't wait to see Marcia's and Michele's cards. Have a wonderful weekend.
Bobby, your yellow rose has pride of place on my card display - yellow roses were my mom's favorite... thanks for the beautiful card and for the memory!
I missed how you changed those intended layers of Marcia's set - wow this is so pretty! and that Prairie grass works... meadow, prairie, nature! It was meant to be!
Those Ella pumpkins aren't new, but I think you girls have made them as fresh as the day they arrived! LOve the orange layers and I'm just MAD about your PLAID!!
Thanks so much for making that long drive, my friend... I sure do wish we had more time, but I've had such a good time making cards out of all those darling little die cut pieces from the sets you shared! Until next time - thanks so much for coming! xx
