Freshly Made Sketches #719

I thought it was time to use some of my older supplies and found just what I needed for the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. 


The TV is from MFT's Stayed Tuned.  Remember rabbit ears?  Most of you are probably too young.  The background is a stencil from Scrapbook.com called Dashed.  I even remember when TV was black and white so I started with gray and then added color for the band in the sketch.   

How about pulling out some of your older stamps and dies?  You may see them in a new way.

    Great card, Bobby! I remember rabbit ears (we still have a pair for local channels), still remember those tvs, the "snow", the important message broadcast -- yep, old-timer here. I love that you used the a rainbow-ish strip to match the sketch too

    What a fun card Bobby. I remember all of that, b/w t.v., rabbit ears, and the snowy screens. :)

    Those were the days when we could use rabbit ears and not have to subscribe to watch tv! I love how you added color for the band in the sketch and that's a great sentiment. What's the important announcement? Or haven't you decided on one yet.

    Oh I just love your retro TV and I DO remember rabbit ears and my dad putting foil (?) on them for a better reception. Your sentiment is a fun one and I like how the rainbow strip peeks through. Thanks so much for joining us this week at FMS!
