Color Hues #131

Sheri picked some beautiful colors for the cards at Color Hues.  Coral and Green.  Yay!  That means we can do flowers and of course that's what I did.

I had to change it up a little and make an acetate card using Pinkfresh Studio's Floral Field.  The flowers were stenciled with Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss and a touch of Heartbeat and the leaves are Silver Sprout and Sagestone, all from Altenew.  The stenciled panel was cut and also another one in white to back it so the glue doesn't show.  I did the same with a 3 1/2 by 4 3/4 panel on the back to write a message.  A sentiment from The Ton finishes it off.  The hardest part about making an acetate card is creasing the fold so it stands up.  I've done this one several times and it still likes to spread out.

Thanks for dropping by and spending a bit of your day with me.

Wow, Bobby, this is really cool! It's a winner to me and I love the two shades of coral and green! Also, I was able to get the die for PFS's Rising Wildflowers and now I can't wait to CASE this with it! Thank you! Hugs, Darnell

Of course you used flowers. This is my thought also. Your flowers are so pretty in the different shades and I love it on the clear card base.
