Inspired by #27

It's been a while since I've played at Inspired By but the vintage linens caught my eye. I actually have a few that look just like these.

I had to cut a smaller panel to fit on my SSS background grid on the diagonal so I slanted it in the corner and added red roses from WPlus9.  The NBUS sentiment stamp is from HA.

CAS(E) This Sketch #134

Well, glory be.  I'm finally home long enough to make a card.  Before I show it to you, I want to thank all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes.  I had a wonderful time with some of my favorite people (daughter, DIL and granddaughters).  We spent 4 days at my son's just shopping, eating, playing games, hot tubbing  and enjoying each other's company.

And now what you came here for.  My card.  This one is for CAS(E) This Sketch.

I stamped a PTI Scribble onto some linen cardstock and colored the sections with Distress Inks.  After stamping the sentiment from Stamplorations, I trimmed down the panel and mounted it on Royal Velvet cardstock.

It seems to be taking me a while to get back in the swing of things.  I may make some cards for the fun of it, just to get my creative juices flowing.  It will also take me a while to get around to commenting on your creations, too.  I was already behind doing that before I left last week and it seems the harder I try, the behinder I get. ;)
