Cardz 4 Guys #368

This is a fun one.  Cardz 4 Guys theme is "S is for . . ."  What would you make? I think S is for sneakers.

I recently picked up some paper that looked like leather and used it with MFT's All Star High Top die.  Scraps of brown were used for the sole and eyelets and some brown twine acts as laces.  The background is patterned paper I've had in my stash and the sentiment was computer generated.  

Thanks for dropping by.  Get those sneakers out and go for a walk.

Time Out #237

 Here at Time Out we're challenging you to be fashionable.

This can mean a lot of different things but this is how I rolled with it.

I bought this sneaker die from MFT quite a while ago to make a birthday card for a granddaughter that liked to wear Converse sneakers, a different color on each foot.  That was her sense of fashionable.  For mine, I used some DSP from Honey Bee for the main part and glossy photo paper for the sole and eyelets. I had to computer generate the sentiment and cut it with a Bubble die from CAS-ual Fridays. The dark gray background is embossed with an Angled Mosaic folder from Altenew.
