Birthday Sketch

I know a lot of bloggers say they have trouble with masculine birthday cards but I love them.  Forgetting I had already made one for my brother,  I was going to make him one from the Freshly Made sketch.  I'll just have to save it for some other lucky male, or another brother (I have 4).

The printed paper is some I got a few weeks ago at a scrapbook shop in Ohio.  It's from Authentique and called "Loyal".  It may be part of a Boy Scout collection since there is a quote from Robert Baden Powell on the edge.  The dark brown card base and the green and blue are from Core-dinations.  I embossed the green with my argyle cuttlebug folder to go along with the print.  All pieces were inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

REally great masculine card, Bobby! I too, enjoy making masculine cards as I find you can go more simple and classic. Love the new papers too, I need them!

I'm so jealous that you can create man-cards with ease! This is wonderful, the argyle and plaid are wonderful together. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

P.S. It would be really helpful if you turned Word Verification off. Thanks.
