Happy Easter everyone! Just a quick card post to enter the Die Cuttin Diva's sketch challenge.
The last time I did this same challenge for another blog, I wasn't sure I liked how the edges came together, so this time I left them with "sashing" as we say in the quilting world.
The printed paper is from from a couple of sheets from We R Memory Keepers called "Good Day Sunshine". One sheet had four squares of different prints and the pages were double sided so I got 7 different squares out of the two sheets. The other two squares are from Core-dinations, as is the background paper and the flower. One square is embossed with the Large Flower folder and sanded. The other is just the backdrop for the flower cut from Accent Essentials. I added a yellow rhinestone for the center.
This card could be used for any occasion. I have a small "Thanks" embossing folder that would fit the square and almost used it for the upper right square but decided not to so I could use it for a birthday or get well card.
