Some challenges are easier for me that others. I need a birthday card for my brother and the Freshly Made challenge was just the inspiration I was looking for.
Instead of the usual A2 card, I made this one a 5 x 7 in order to use my new punch for the three elements down the side.
The printed paper is from a Studio G pack and the cake is cut from A Child's Year. Black brads hold the sentiments on.
It's difficult to see the outline of the card in this picture since the right half is white. I made a photo box as directed in this post by Diane at
Capadia Designs. It works well for most photos so I don't know why it isn't good for this one. I tried putting a different colored paper in the back but that didn't look good either. But the card looks good. ^_^
