Seal a brate

I'm still working on my craft room.  I sorted pictures into photo boxes that I had purchased some time ago but never got around to putting the photos in.  They are all labeled by occasion in chronological order.  I had a few finished pages that hadn't been put into a scrapbook so I got the books out.  Big mistake!  You know how it is when you want to throw magazines out?  You have to look through them first and ..... hours go by so fast.  I limited myself to a quick browse through only two of them.

The CAS-ual Fridays challenge is "Splish, Splash", something from the ocean.  I wanted something different (of course lol) from the seahorses, crabs and whales that I was seeing.  Then this cute seal on the Create a Critter cartridge caught my eye.

I tore a piece of blue and embossed it with the Bubbles folder for the ocean, putting it on a lighter blue card base.  This next step may disqualify me from being CAS but I just HAD to do it.  I made my own "wobble".  The seal just screamed out for it and I had been wanting to do this for a while.   It was easy to do and there are a number of tutorials showing how if you are interested.

I was going to use "Seal a brate" for the sentiment but figured the young child I gave it to wouldn't "get it".  I opted for the simple Hello stamp instead.

I'm also entering this in the CardzTV  Critter Cuties challenge.
