You nailed it!

Why is it that cold weather is so much easier to take when the sun is shining?  Or why does it feel like it's so much colder than the thermometer says the older you get?  Maybe this explains the population growth in some of the southern states.

Today's card is for the Less is More challenge: use silver. 

What doess this say about me that the first thing I thought of was nails?  And after that came the punny sentiment.  Then there was the problem of deciding what paper to use.  I knew I needed something rather dark so the nails would show up.  I auditioned a lot of paper before I found this plaid from FancyPants' Little Sport collection and a blue that went with it.  I wanted to tie in the sentiment paper so I added a layer of kraft cardstock behind the plaid.  The sentiment was printed on the computer and attached with silver brads.  Inside it says "Congratulations."  For those of you who say it's difficult to do masculine cards, I hope this inspires you.
