Simon Monday

When a challenge blog has anything to do with quilting, I just HAVE to enter it.  Fabric quilting is one of my loves but it is much less expensive using paper.  I love mixing patterns and colors and designs no matter the medium.  Monday's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Blog is "Patchwork".

I used the WPlus9 quilt die to cut my squares from 6 different scraps.  I glued them down in a 9 patch pattern on plain cardstock which was then mounted on dimensional foam.  The sentiment - Birthday's are like quilts, stitched together one year at a time - is computer generated.

I'm glad you stopped by today.  May your world be as colorful as a warm, cozy quilt.

Quilts always remind me of my mom, an awesome quilter. This is just wonderful, Bobby. What a sweet way to wish someone a happy birthday. Bev
