SSSMC, MIM#140 and STS #8

Yippee!  I have one card for three challenges.  That doesn't happen often.  On Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday, Ashley Cannon Newell has a video showing ink pad designs.  The challenge at Simon Says Stamp is "Get Inky" and Seize the Sketch has just the inspiration to use these techniques.

Using four different Distress Inks, I swiped the pads down the front of the card and then misted with water for a little extra texture.  The sentiment is from PTI's Big Birthday Bash stamped in Picked Raspberry.  The star is from a PTI die cut from a scrap of orange and popped up on foam tape.  This was so quick and easy, I think I'll make a few more in other colors.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card.  I hope you get a chance to "get inky" today.

I'd say this simple technique has a lot of wow factor, but I know from experience that swiping the pads isn't always a simple technique. Not for me anyway. But your have done it beautifully and that star really makes it special!

Wow! Nicely done. I rarely get this technique to work well. A very pretty, bright, and happy card.
