Just Us Girls #258

Even though I'm the guest designer for Just Us Girls this month, I want to answer the design team call so I'm making a card to enter the watercolor challenge.

After taping around the edges of some watercolor paper, I smeared an acrylic block with Peeled Paint and Weathered Wood Distress Inks, misted it and smooshed onto the paper.  I did it again in spots to add to the color.  Wildflowers from Stacy stamps are in Wet Cement and the handwritten sentiment from SSS in HA India Ink.  I think I stamped the flowers too soon and they seem to have faded into the background.  I did want a shadowy image, but not ghostly. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by.

So serene and calm, Bobby ... I think the wildflowers against the beautiful background are gorgeous as they are ... I love the delicate way they're beginning to fade! Anita :)
