Two Cards, Three Challenges

I've been playing in my craft room with varied results.  I have a few cards that I love, some I'm satisfied with, and one that will never make it to the challenge even though I spent a long time trying to get it right.

My first card today is for two challenges, Less Is More's Starry Starry Night which also makes it eligible for Simon Says Wednesday Challenge We're Seeing Stars.

The stars are from Winnie and Walter's Big Bang Confetti, embossed with white.  The bottom was masked and the sky inked with Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood Distress Inks.  The sentiment is from PTI.

The AAA challenge is Play with Watercolors.  This is more up my alley and I created this lovely (as long as it's not real snow) scene.

I used my NBUS Penny Black Woodland Wonder stamp and embossed it in white.  Using Weathered Wood and Faded Jeans Distress Inks, with just a hint of Spun Sugar, I mixed them with water and painted the sky.  The sentiment is from PTI.  I popped the panel up on a unknown blue cardstock.

My desk/table looks like a disaster area.  I usually put things right away but my mind was working overtime and as I thought of a stamp or sentiment I wanted to use, I pulled them out and put them in a pile.  Now if I can only remember what I was going to do with them. :-)

I hope your crafting day goes well.  Thanks for stopping by.

I know what you mean, Bobby - I have been trying things out with variable results this week! Both of these cards are beautiful, though so all of the messy time was worth it. Love the inky sky on the first and the lovely watercolour on your second :)

Don't you find you lose things when you do that? I do! I don't normally pile either, but when I do, man, I lose my remote and my scissors and that piece I just had in my hand ...! I do NOT know how these "unstructured" crafters manage it! But I digest.

Your starry cards are sensational, Bobby! I was particularly gobsmacked by the one for AAA where I just came from. Your freezing snow whiskers on the window are PERFECTION!! Hugs, Darnell

So understand Bobby...I have been having more failed results then success that is for sure! These are brilliant...honestly! Love them both!

Very chilly snow scene, like you I prefer it on a card to the real thing. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.

Super cards Barb and love your sparkly starry night sky.
I know exactly what you mean about crafting tidy v not tidy ... with I could get the hang of tidying as I go along as my workspace gets smaller and smaller as I drag more and more stuff out!
Thanks for taking part

Both are absolutely beautiful! The color changes in the starry sky are perfect!! And as someone who loves snow, your snowy scene is just right.
