CAS(E) This Sketch #103

I worked up a storm yesterday.  Made cookies for Sunday's cookie walk at church.  Epic fail.  I tried new recipes when I should have stuck with the old stand-bys.  I also got three cards made and three more in the works.  Today's is for CAS(E) this sketch.  I took a page from Donna Mikasa's book and used a Designer Paper from American Crafts.

The Sketch:

My Card:

I cut the paper using PTI's Tipped Tops.  Then came the dilemma.  Do I put the sentiment from Penny Black parallel to the card top or the houses?  I chose the card top.  What do you think?  I then used the SSS Snowfall stencil to white emboss some snow.  For such an easy card, I rather like it.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.  I hope all your holiday preparations are going well.

Love the angled panel and the patterned paper works perfectly with the addition of the embossed snow. Sounds like you have been very productive - I bet the cookies are fine too!

LOVE it! I prefer the sentiment as you have it rather than parallel with the house tops . . . but I'm sure it would have looked great the other way too! Hazel x

Love these tip top dies and I think the sentiment is perfect! It could easily go either way or in the middle. A sweet scene!
