Time Out #27 and JUGS #285

I love it when challenges line up, especially when they are as explicit as "black and white and one other color" which is what they are asking for at Time Out and Just Us Girls.

I did a blue watercolor background using my Hydrus set.  When it was dry, I stamped the dandelion and sentiment from MFT in HA India Ink Black.  I ended up distressing the edges of the watercolor paper just to give it some oomph.

Thanks for stopping by./ Your visits and comments are truly appreciated.

Love your fun image! I can feel the warm breeze as the wind blows all the little fuzzies in the air. Unfortunately, it is in the 30's here and no warm breeze. lol Love your card. Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!

What a lovely stamp!! I still love blowing dandelions with the kids, thank goodness they don't inhale the seeds now they are older (or get them stuck to their lips...). Sensational card for our challenge, always so happy to see you at TIME OUT!

Wonderful card. Love your stamping. I was just working on these two challenges yesterday, thinking the same thing--how nice that they were both the same.

Gorgeous soft watercolour background, Bobby ... and what a wonderful dandlion 'clock' ... so evocative of being little, blowing seeds into the wind ... and making that all important wish! So happy to have you playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
