CAS(E) This Sketch #120

I know there are some hummingbird lovers out there.  For instance Michele from I Card Everyone, who actually feeds them from her hand, and Darnell at djkaqrdkreations who just posted the newest one at her feeder.  I love them too, but so far am restricted to the ones I put on cards.

I followed the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch, using WPlus9 Flora and Fauna 2, a stencil from Tim Holtz, and sentiment from Paper Smooches.  The hummer is watercolored with Inktense pencils and a little Perfect Pearls is added to give him that iridescent look.  Too bad it doesn't show in the picture.

ETA:  I just realized I can enter this into Happy Little Stampers stenciling challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.  I have another card to post later. It seems all the challenges are coming due at the same time.

Your hummingbird shines in its starring role on the stage...so eye-catching! The background stencilling: perfect canvas. Yet again, a most gorgeous card! Hope you have a most excellent visit with Michele! Where are those 'Beam me up, Scotty'' transporters when you need them...I'd love, love and love to join you two! Have fun and photos/stories, please!
