Whoa. The sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch this week is a doozy. You've really challenged us, Leigh.
This reminded me of a quilt and that's the direction I went with. It took me a while to figure out just how to make it work but I'm rather happy with the results.
I used the WPlus9 quilt square in three papers, fussy cutting a fourth to put on the straight sides. A sentiment from MSE is stamped in Cup O' Joe to tie in with the dark brown in the print.
I couldn't let all those little extra pieces go to waste so I made another card.
I overlapped the squares in one corner, popped them up on foam and added the sentiments from PB.
My 'real' quilts are almost done. Just two sides of binding left on one quilt and they're ready for their photo shoot. Stay tuned.

Great quilt designs!
LOVE your take on the sketch Bobbi, these are amazing!
So wonderfully detailed and gorgeous, Bobby ... I especially love the cosy feel of the first with that sentiment ... they're perfect together! Hugs, Anita :)
I had hoped to see one of your quilt cards here in the gallery, Bobby - I thought of you immediately when I saw the sketch! You've done a fabulous job choosing 'fabrics' - can't wait to see the real McCoys!

Beautifully quilted cards! Wonderful combination of patterns!
Look at you, bringing your quilting creativity and expertise to this sketch (I ran the other direction!) with not only one, but two delights! Wonderful patterns!
