It's trend week at Just Us Girls and Nancy has chosen 'Jars'.
There are pint jars and quart jars. Jars of jam or jars to hold a spring bouquet. Whatever you imagine a jar being or doing, make it into a card. You could be Chic of the Week and possibly guest design for a month. I used my jars to hold Christmas candy.
The jars and candy are from PTI, stamped on Bristol board and colored with Zigs. Yes I see that smudge on the side of the candy canes. I tried to add some shading to the jar and the red ran. I think it looks like a shadow on the glass. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;) In fact I smudged a little green to make it look like I did it on purpose.
Time to check out what the rest of the Design Team and guest Designer Theresa Gregory have made to inspire you. I hope we see you in the gallery.

Your jars of candy = wonderful treats for the eyes! The sponging adds a charming festive touch! I have nary a jar image in my collection...may have to do some mental gymnastics to figure out how to play along. Oh, wait a minute...something just popped to mind! Yayyyy...a ping moment!
Hugs~c
How sweet and delicious your jars look. There is nothing better than a jar of candy, and yours are especially festive.
Hey Bobby! Indeed, a festive reflection on the jar. Love how you have the smaller one behind, and then fit the sentiment in that space, off center. Wonderful!
Super fun jar candy Bobby, I hate a smudge too, but it always bothers us more than the recipient, they won't even notice it lol.
Fabulous jar use! Love what they are filled with
Scrumptious, Bobby ... all that fabulous Christmas candy just waiting to be munched ... who would see that smudge/reflection ... not me! Hugs, Anita :)
Very festive and yummy looking, Bobby! I didn't even notice the smudge until I read the post.
Geez, I never saw that smudge until you brought it to my attention. You should have kept your mouth shut....lol. Your jars are just adorable, I love what you have done with them. Genius!!!
This is delightful!!
Now I didn't think to color my candies in until I saw your card! This is a very "sweet" card!
Your card is adorable! I didn't notice any smudge until you brought it to attention. LOL! I love that you smudged a bit of green to make it look on purpose....and it totally WAS! ;)
Love all 'that candy' and that you have 2 colours - yum!
Great sentiment too Bobby. PS What smudge?
