CAS Christmas - Winter Flower

When my neighbor passed away, her daughter let me take some of her plants for my own garden.  The ones I cherish most are the Hellebores, which are sometimes called Christmas Rose. That's what I picked for my Winter Flower for the CAS Christmas Challenge.
The stamp is from WPlus9 that I heat embossed in white and colored with a variety of inks.  The light green panel was cut with the hemstitch die and I added the double layer sentiment die from Elizabeth Crafts.

CAS Christmas is also celebrating its second birthday.  Thank you, Loll, for giving us a fun challenge that gives us a head start on our Christmas cards.

Edited to add:  I see that this card qualifies for a new-to-me challenge (I know.  Where have I been?)  Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge so I'm entering it there for #481.

You really captured the colour of the true Christmas Rose hellebore - I have lots of other hellebores, but not the Christmas Rose one, and mine are mostly pinks and burgundy colours, and are all blooming right now. Love your card! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Christmas!

Beautiful card. I had Hellebores at the first house I owned. They were a beautiful pop of colour in the winter months. Thank you for joining in the No Patterned Paper Challenge at CHNC.
