Seize the Birthday #217

I have a piece of business to discuss before I get to my card.  I went looking in my Spam folder yesterday because something that was sent hadn't arrive in my inbox.  I was surprised to see that a number of comments from friends were there.  When I checked I found that somehow gmail thought I wanted to block any emails that came from "noreply-comment@blogger.com" and sent them all to the Spam folder.  I didn't authorize this and have since changed it but any of you who have not gotten out of  'no reply' might think about doing it.  You may have your reasons but no one can answer your comment directly this way and others may be missing your comments too.

Now onto my card for Seize the Birthday.  They want you to use an embossing folder.  I don't usually buy kits but the Simon Says July kit intrigued me for several reasons.  One - the new tape runner.  Two - the versatile stamp set and three - this embossing folder.

I used Bristol cardstock so I could paint the image with Zigs, then trimmed it down and put it on Bazzill Sour Grape cardstock, using a scrap to heat embossed the sentiment from the kit.  Colored or plain, I think this folder will be used a lot.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a great weekend!

Blogger allowed us to fix the no-reply thing once upon a time... but then something changed, and we all ended up with it again, through no fault of our own.
You'll tell me if I become a no-reply blogger again, won't you?
Looks like you made a good decision on that kit, Bobby. This embossing folder is beautiful - and so is your card!

Your card is truly fabulous, and that e/f is beautiful! Lovely coloring, and card all together.
Please do let me know if I've been changed by google to no-reply, it may be part of the "feed" option going away...
