I couldn't resist making a card for CASology when I saw their cue word.
Some of my favorite animal stamps are in MFT's The Whole Herd.
The animals were colored with Zigs and die cut to place on the card front that was softly inked using Clarity brushes and Distress Inks. I had originally planned to have the goat as part of the herd but between the planning stages and actually making of the card the goat disappeared. I looked through everything I thought had been on my desk but to no avail. After the card was done I happened to think that I had been coloring with my PolyChromos and when I looked that darn little Billy was stuck to the bottom of the tin. Too late for the card but I'm glad I found him.
Thanks for dropping by. I love it when you do.

CAS(E) This Sketch #264
I played around in my craft room with ideas to make a card for CAS(E) This Sketch and finally came up with something that works for me. Hopefully the team can see the sketch.
Do you see it? MFT's The Whole Herd gave me the sentiment and the images that are colored with Zigs. A little masking and Distress Ink blending gave me a background and their barbed wire fence finishes it off.
Thanks for dropping by. Enjoy your day.

CASology #196
I thought I was going to use my AI ladies for my 'Move" card for CASology this week and had the stamp on my desk trying to figure out how to make it different from the last time I used it. Then I remembered I wanted to make a card for a friend that moved to North Carolina recently and from that came this:
You probably recognize the cow from MFT. I colored him with Zigs and did a little Distress Ink grass. Different paper calls for different mediums. ;) The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a LF speech bubble.
I hope you have a wonderful day. Whether you are a mother, grandmother, aunt or mother substitute, this is your day to be celebrated for all you do to support those around you.

CAS(E) This Sketch #160
I had so much fun with the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch once the idea hit me in the early morning hours.
The sketch:
My card:
I bought this barbed wire fence die from MFT on sale a while ago. I didn't know what I'd do with it but I love barbed wire. Crazy, I know. In fact I'm a sucker for any rusted metal. But I digress. Once I decided on the fence I needed a sentiment. I was thinking about "Don't Fence Me In" and using a horse but once I saw the sentiment from "The Whole Herd" I knew it was meant to be.
Thanks for dropping by.

Happy Birthday Wishes
Today is my oldest children's birthday. Yes, I said children. My first born were twins.
I sent Lisa a card I made a while ago but did a new one for Brian.
This is actually a CASE of a card that Therese from Lostinpaper did here. I changed it up a bit. She stamped the background and I used a stencil. She masked the sentiment and I popped mine up. She used a bird and I used a cow. Take a look at Therese's video to see what I mean.
