The Flower Challenge #87

It's time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge and we'd like to see gold on your card along with your flowers.

I got a new hot foil plate and couldn't wait to use it for this challenge.

The plate is Pine Sprays from Spellbinders and I thought it would make a great background for the Waffle Flower poinsettias.  I cut the flowers from a panel spritzed with Peppermint Stick Mica Spray and used a scrap for the sentiment from CPD.  I added a little more gold by using embellishments from Pretty Pink Posh for the centers.   It's difficult to get a good photograph of the shimmer of the gold and mica spray.   At least you can see it a little better here.

Color Hues #76 and NBUS #56

What could be more beautiful at Christmas than red and gold?  Okay.  I realize that there are other beautiful color combinations but Color Hues is asking for that one.

Before my surgery I played with my  Glimmer Machine and some new hot foil plates.  I used this one from Spellbinders as the background for my Tim Holtz poinsettias.  I added more gold in the centers with embellishments from PPP and branches from the die set.  The heat embossed sentiment is from Pinkfresh.

Sending this to NBUS as well since this is the first outing for the beautiful Dazzling Diamonds.

Time Out #221 and HLS Anything Goes with Dies

Time Out wants to see festive cards in their gallery.  Who can resist that theme.  I know I can't. 

I had the foiled HoneyBee background in my B&P box.  The Concord and 9th candles were cut from holographic paper with gold sparkly flames added.  The celebrate die from Altenew is the reverse foiling of the word, cut with the accompanying shadow die.  

It's not often I make an all die card so I'm also sending this over to Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies.

PinkFresh Studio August 2022 Challenge

I had a card background in my B&P bin and when I saw the challenge at PinkFresh Studio I hoped it would work for it.  

The Peony Print Hot Foil Plate was used with silver foil on a pale peach cardstock.  I colored/shaded the peonies with PolyChromos pencils, mounted the panel on silver cardstock and added a foiled and die cut Perfect Sentiment.
