Chevrons and Flowers

There's a fun new challenge out there called Fusion. Go check it out to see their hypothesis.  I tried to post it here but it did something strange to my blog page.  I'm combining it with CASual Fridays.

I have a chevron die, from PTI I think, and knew I could finally put it to use.  One of the new paper packs I bought was Miss Caroline from MME and it had this cute flowered paper.  Could I place the chevron die in such a way that it made the best use of the flowers?  Yes, I could, so that's what I did.  Then I tried to duplicate the flowers on the paper with a cut from the Cindy Lou cartridge, using scraps.  The sentiment was printed from the computer.

I know, I know.  I'm very literal with inspiration photos.  I love to try new things but thinking in a new way is much more difficult.  Stay tuned and see if I can retrain my brain. ;)

Thanks for stopping by and gave a wonderful day!

I'm so with you, Bobby ... it IS hard to come up with something that is not a literal translation of a sketch. But I love how this one turned out, literal and all!! Your chevrons full of flowers are so fun. Thanks for playing with the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, AND the very first Fusion Challenge!
