CFC #107

This weeks challenge at CAS-ual Fridays was

I'm sure glad they said that meant use at least one arrow because otherwise I would have been in the dark.  I don't have any arrow stamps so I had to use my trusty but much neglected lately Cricut.

The arrows are from the Accent Essentials cartridge, cut into kraft cardstock.  I auditioned a number of papers for the under layer and came up with this bubbly looking one from Basic Grey.  I glued it directly to the card and then popped up the arrow layer.  Before I did that, I thought the arrows lacked something, so taking a lesson from an online card class, I took my black marker and outlined them.  I don't think I did it very evenly but I rather like that look, especially since the print paper is variegated.  A sentiment stamp from PTI completes the card.

I'm so glad you stopped by today.  I love reading your comments, so please leave one.

Ohhh, I love the way you used negative space for your card!! Fabulous!! (Your "auditioned" comment made me laugh!)

I just might try this challenge. I'll post if I do (and if I'm pleased with the results)!!

Love your peek-a-boo arrows!

Re the email on the profile page, I found info which I think will help you find your profile page to edit at: https://support.google.com/blogger/answer/41375?hl=en

I googled "profile page in Blogger" and it was the first entry in case the above doesn't work. To be honest, my blog doesn't have the 'edit profile' button they say it should, so I'm hoping that's just me and that it works for you.

I've also seen blogs where the email address button is on the side bar of the front page, so that may be on the gadget popup and be an easier way to go. It sure is helpful to have email addresses for people for things, well, like this!

Thanks for adding your birthdate!!

Your die cut arrows are wonderful. I had totally forgotten about that outlining trick--thanks for the reminder.

In-lining?! As opposed to outlining...brilliant girl, brilliant! You've got a fun and interesting card here, with it's negative arrows and nice CAS style. Great card, Bobby. Bev

Way to make your own arrows when you don't already have them! And they turned out so well, especially with the outlining. So glad you joined the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge this week, Bobby!
