Fusion Chevrons

Well, Hello Thursday.  Where did Tuesday and Wednesday go?

I have a card for the Fusion challenge.

I went back and forth about what I was going to do for this challenge until I spotted my tweed stencil.  Hanging on the end of my cabinet, it looked like chevrons to me so I pulled it down and made this card.

I used Distress Inks except for the grey which is HA soft granite. I just happened to have this small piece of black and white twine, which looks a little chevron-y, and adds that last color to the mix.  I did a little surgery on a Penny Black stamp for the sentiment, placed on a punched tag with some  (gasp) sequins.  I don't often use sequins, and have very few, but these red ones seemed to bring a little party to the card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Hey Bobby! Great idea to use your tweed stencil for this challenge, it's perfect! You did a good job inking the different rows too, it seems like it would be difficult to do (or require masking). Thanks so much for joining the Fusion Challenge!

I did mask it with post-it notes, Kelly, ala Laura Bassen. ;)
