I love it when a card comes together quickly. With all my "taking care of parents" duties, I don't have much time for elaborate card making and am way behind on checking on challenges and commenting on blogs. I did see that Less is More is having a watercolor challenge so I had to jump into the water so to speak.
I saw this Stacy Stamps set on JoAnn's website and decided I had to have it. The cattails are one stamp but there is also a coneflower and Queen Anne's lace solid stamp. The other grass and the dragonfly are from Technique Tuesday. I inked the grasses up with DI and spritzed them with water. For the tiny dragonfly I used marker that I spritzed. Even the sentiment from HA looks watercolored - an accident but legible.
I have in mind another card to do so I hope to be back in the next couple of days with a post for it. Meanwhile I've sewn new bedroom curtains and have a quilt in the works. I can't leave my Dad home alone for long so I have been at his house every afternoon and early evening through the night, when the homecare givers are not there. It gives me time to do some sewing but not much time left for cards.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope to get a chance to visit some of you in the next couple of days to see what wonderful things you have created.
