You just know I had to make a card for MUSE this week. After all, Marion's card had an owl on it. (Insert squeal of delight) Have I told you I have an owl collection? It probably numbers in the 100s, all sizes, shapes and materials. I only have one owl stamp, though and I used it on this card. Here's the muse -
and my card.
The owl is from Paper Smooches and that means I can also link up to their "Anything Goes" challenge. A first for me.
I also have a tag for the newly created and second challenge for Tag, You're It. The inspiration is by the super talented Laura Bassen.
I loved the colors and grid-like appearance of the background.
For my "grid" I used the Tim Holtz Dot Fade stencil with Distress Inks. The sentiment is from Winnie & Walter with the large "you" embossed with Black Sparkle powder.
I want to thank those of you have been keeping my mother in your prayers. We had a meeting yesterday and she will be released from physical rehab on August 8th. They will spend the next two weeks working on balance and personal skills but she has been doing a good job walking, although she tires easily. Dad clapped when he heard the news. They will both do better when they are together.
Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments so I'd be pleased if you leave one.
