FUSION

I knew the minute I saw the photo inspiration for the Fusion challenge what I was going to do.  I have a new (only used once) Penny Black stamp with sunflowers on it.
The only question was - do I fuse?  I thought the sketch would work just fine with what I wanted to do, so the answer is - yes.

Stamps:  Penny Black flower, HA sentiment, MFT burlap background
Ink: Distress Inks, HA Soft Brown, Memento Rich Cocoa
Die: MFT Circle Stax
Paper: PTI kraft, Neenah Solar White

It's funny how your creative juices flow and dry up, flow and dry up.  Mine have been dry for almost a week now.  The last few cards I've posted were made over a week ago.  Even with all the inspiration for World Card Making Day yesterday, I couldn't seem to get anything made.  And as I sit here going over my challenge list, I've got nothing.  This week promises to be less busy than last, so maybe I can concentrate a little more.  I do want to get some Halloween cards made.  Maybe I'll start there and see where it leads me.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Your flower is gorgeous, Bobby, and I love the background you created for it!
I hate those times when the creative juices dry up So frustrating and it seems to happen when I actually have a good chunk of time to work on cards!

Beautiful card Bobby, don't you love it when you know exactly what stamp you want to pull out? Creative juices definitely wax and wane. I find that sometimes stepping for a bit helps.

Such a beautiful sunflower, Bobby ... so gorgeous against the natural kraft and that wonderful burlap (one of my longed for stamps!)! Ah, yes ... creative juices ... if only they would flow consistently! Anita :)
